Would make things a whole lot easier to undertsnad if you told us if you are washing in cold or hot water.
The symptoms you have indicated are commonplace when washing is done with cold water and using the incorrect detergents.
Need to know more – but not as much as how many parts of shorts you wash at a time!!!!!!!!!!!
