I’m finishing my basement and adding a wet bar in an alcove around my sump basin and septic lift tank basin. There isn’t an existing drain line to tie into and I’d rather not (or more specifically would rather not PAY anybody to) dig up my slab to add a 1.5″ drain line. Here is a picture of what I came up with:

        Click For Picture

The existing lines are in black and what I’d like to add is in red. The only other thing I can think of is to get another flange for the top of the basin and drain into the lid, but I can’t find a flange anywhere and don’t want to redneck engineer one since it has to be gas tight.

        Any help is appreciated.

The drain and vent system is perhaps the most important part from a fixture such as a toilet or sink is very important. In fact, without drain/vent system, bathroom plumbing system is incomplete.
