Hi
I have a low pressure open vented hot water system fed from a header tank in the roof. My hot water pressure is very low so I want to lift the header tank. How much of a height differential do I need to keep between the level in the header tank and the top of the vent pipe going through the roof. It is currently about 1 metre and I want to lift the tank about 300mm. -
300mm lift of supply tank should be just fine – if water runs out the open vent then just increase the length of the pipe by adding some pipe to it simple a,b,c aye?
