Since flexible connections can be used when connecting hot and cold water basin bathroom taps.
Why is it they also cannot be used when connecting a hot water service.As I understand “hard connection” can only be used.
Keeping in mind the water pressure and temperature would be the same at both the HWS and Basin connections.
I do understand regulations require hard connections be used.I would like to know why this is the case.

They have trouble withconnections later on.
