Quick Question.
When water is poured down the drain in the bath and the basin, the toilet has bubbles in it. What could be causing this?

Sounds like you have a partial stoppage in main line from toilet, have it cabled out are do it yourself. take up toilet and run cable through the openning.

The only thing that could cause this is an obstructed or inadequate common vent to the toilet/bath.

What I think is it may the cause of air. Bubbles in water come only because it carries air with it.
