How can I connect pvc to existing clay field tile? I would like to connect my sump pump to it. It will have to be a t or y connection

Musky 1, carefully cut out a section of the clay tile that is the exact length of the PVC tee or wye fitting. Then slip on two Fernco couplings, place the PVC fitting in line, slide the couplings in place, and tighten the stainless steel bands.

I hope that you are not planning to pump ground water into your septic system leach field. If so, this is a very bad plan. Hydraulic overloading is a major cause of leach field failure. It is better to build a separate dispersal field for the water from your sump pit. I recommend the use of plastic chambers for the dispersal field, such as the Advanced Drainage Systems, Inc. Bio-Diffuser.
