Is there a way to stop toilet from spouting city sewer water from bowl? We had sever rain & toilet in cellar spit out city sewer water all over the place. It was a mess & we couldn’t stop it. You can e-mail me at [email protected]

You can put a Backwater trap in main sewer line, it has a removelable top so you got to have acess to it, outside they usualy put them in a pit so you can get to the top of valve in case of trouble like a stoppage are sewer cable stuck in it.
