Someone please HELP!! I put a snake down the shower drain and now it is stuck. A plumber told me that it might have gone through a valve. If that’s the case they will have tyo dig it up and it will cost $$$. Also, he told me to flush the toilet and and at the same time twist the snake the other way to try and get it out as when you flush the toilet the valve opens up. I tried that and it didn’t work. Anyone have any suggestions how to get it out?? Please HELP! Thanks.

You probably have the snake twisted up in the trap of the shower.Try turning it in the opposite direction and pull up at the same time.Hope you don’t have to tear up the line ,that will cost you more than if you would have called a plumber to begin with.Good luck.
