I recently posted a message about my ejector pump which was continuously cycling after a bad storm. We had one last night, and after removing the cover, I discovered a hole under the pipe draining into the pit. The hole is about the size of a pea and is the cause of all the stormwater running into the pit. My question is whether I can patch it (it’s high and dry enough) or if I have to replace the pit. I obviously don’t want to replace not only because of the mess, but because I’m wondering if the noticeable work around the pit would decrease value, lead to other problems??? If I patch, can I do it with silicone or some special substance once it’s dry to seal up the hole???? Please help. THanks

If you could repair pipe it would be the best but if you want to repair it they make repair clamps for different size pipes, try plumbing supplyhouse are box store.
