I am on a septic tank system. Recently in the bathroom on the second floor above the washing machine the sound of water draining from the washing machine when it is rinsing/spinning has become very loud, resonating throughout the room. I have only noticed this recently. Does anyone know what the problem might be?

If you have pvc drain pipe it does that.
