Leach Fields ?

Is it okay to cover a septic sysems leach field with concrete e.g. a concrete tennis court.Please cite the code that says you can or cannot.

I would not because you defeat the purpose of the field, you need the sun to evaporate the water from there.

You do not say what code to cite. Uniform Plumbing Code appendix K [Private Sewage Disposal Systems] says: “Disposal fields, trenches and leaching beds shall not be paved over or covered by concrete or any other material that can reduce or inhibit any possible evaporation of sewer effluent.”
