My house was built in 1979, and is on the city sewer system. Since this fall, we have been smelling some foul sewer gas odors in the basement only. Is there a way to flush the sytem or add a home-remedy mix or store-purchased chemical and flush out my lines?null

Where is it coming from, broken pipe or floor drain? Is floor drain trap full of water? Try a cup of cooking oil in the floor drain.
