        Dear plumber,

In what used to be a coin wash, the ABS plastic drains used to be about two feet sticking out of a concrete floor. They have been cut of at the floor.

I want to install a one square foot by ten foot concrete trench for our commercial washers to dump in. as the vent was tied into the ABS above the floor I need to know were to tie in the vent.

PS The drains are four inch.

I’d realy appreciate any information you can help me with.

        A handy man in need.

Richard, without trying to sound like a smart-aleck, I simply can’t imagine a non-plumber tackling this project. You may luck out and get it to work, but there is no way you are going to get it to code just by getting advice over the internet.
Even if you don’t have a code to abide by or inspections to pass, I will predict that the best money that you spend on this project will be paid to a licensed plumber to at least advise you on how to proceed.
