Over the last month or so, our sewage ejector has stopped working 4 times (for about 15 minutes each time) and then it will start working all of a sudden. Each time has happened when we are doing laundry. We have just been in this new house for 2 years now, so I hate to think the sewage ejector pump is going bad, but that is the only thing I can think of. We have a Septic tank system. Anyone have any clues or suggestions. Thanks.

Disconnect the electricity take the pump out CHECK the impeller for possible lint or string build up.

This sounds like the pump maybe going on and off due to the thermo over load working because the impeller is partially jammed and causing the pump to over heat and cut off like it was designed to do, then when it cools down it automatically kicks in.
