I just purchased a used mobile home (1996 Skyline Lexington model). The previous owner listed the following problem, both toilets will plug-up and overflow if solids and paper are flushed together. this causes two flushes per use. The toilets have a very small discharge opening in the bottom of the bowl. Are there any recalls on this toilet? Does anyone else have this problem?

You have a “watersaver”toilet. The environmentalists decided it takes .7 of a gallon of water to flush a toilet. They designed toilets to fit these specifications. It actually takes two gallons of water to flush a toilets. We are in a “78 mobile home with two of these toilets with just my husband and me.Our septic backs up like clockwork every Spring. We are looking into replacing these toilets with “normal” ones.Good luck!
