I recently came to live in the country (Ireland) in a cottage which has a Septic Tank about 30 yards from house. There are vents coming up from the Tank. Problem: there is an odour in the area around the tank vents. How do I eliminate this odour?

check to make sure the vents are indeed working. Sometimes animals crawl inside and die blocking the vent from properly working Good luck
