Modular Cooktop installation with Propane

We just installed a new Jenn-air modular cooktop for use with Propane. The permanent side works great, but when we installed the modular section there is a hissing sound that comes when we turn up the heat dial and the flame doesn’t respond any different between med and high. Otherwise it works fine and the company we bought it from says it’s nothing to worry about. What do you professionals say?

I would suggest that you have them come back and readjust the burners. But I had a customer who had that noise with a different brand and they were never able to cure it. (they bought a different stove)

Thanks also for this reply. We adjusted the burners with a bit of success in reducing the hissing.
