I would like to install a toilet for my own use in my basement so I don’t have to go to the third floor everytime I have to use the toilet. I was going to run the drain into the ejector pump basin in the basement right next to the toilet. Do I have to vent this toilet and what would happen if I didn’t vent it?

Yes you have to vent the toilet and also the sump pit. If you dont vent toilet it might syphon and also smell.
