After the dishwasher fills with water, the moment it begins its wash cycle, water leaks out the bottom. How can I repair this myself. It is a Danby built in dishwasher. Any ideas?

sounds like it could be a bad door gasket. Check the bottom corners where the door hinges are. (Assuming its constructed that way.)
Gaskets have a ridge which push down in a groove in the body and can be bought most anywhere. How old is it?
If the leak is not in the door, you can have a loose connection on the pump. In the USA most have a small (5″ panel) across the bottom that you can remove by taking out two screws on either side. Then you can see underneath to diagnose the problem.
