hello,I just moved into a new home with hot water baseboard heating with suntemp covers.in one bedroom only when the heat comes up there is an annoying constant metal tapping sound tahat last for what seems forever.any suggestions are greatly appreciated thanks

its the pipe getting longer as it heats, do you have a finished basement? do you think you can find the drilled joist with the pipe tightly crammed through it that makes noise when the pipe moves? dont spray it with wd40, make the hole bigger or shim it with plastic
