Help. My tub drains very slowly. I am guessing that hair and soap scum have collected somewhere. How do I remove the tub stopper to verify? And, is there anything else I should know once I remove the stopper?

If your tub is draining slow use a drain cleaner with enzimes but don’t use caustics or acid as they can cause severe burns. If you’re going to clean the drain with a cable, remove the face plate for access. Or better yet call a licensed plumber. John
