Can lead pipes be the cause of a drainage problem. If so, what is the least expensive way to re-plumb house.

I doubt your drains are made of only lead. If you want to save money give me some details. is your problem in your toilet and every other fixture or is it just the tub or a sink? how much lead is there really? what is your stack made of? you can get away with fixing most problems individually, you might not need all new drains
