i have no hot water at kitchen sink. i already know the faucet is not the problem. what is next to check?

im assuming you have a water line to this faucet and do have a water heater. If this is an older house a water line is most likely plugged. if you have a combo. of galvanized and copper water lines, you will usually find the stoppage where copper and steel or brass and steel touch. the electrolisis will cause the rust to build up there. if I sound off base, give more details
