Id like to put a toilet in my basement and it will net to flush up 8 feet. Does anyone have any information about upflush toilets… are they reliable for longterm use? are there any particular problems associated with them that i should be aware of? Any recommendations on which products to purchase ?

Any recommendations on which products to purchase ?Instead of limiting yourself to just a toilet, why not consider a sewage ejector pot/sump. This way in the future you can install either a shower or bath tub and basin. By installing a sewerage ejector system like Zoller or Stevens your not limiting yourself to one fixed manufacturer. If your pump should die you have the option of buying a pump from other manufacturers. You may even want to install a duplex system for redundency and have one lead and lag. Have fun….. Sylvan
