RESPONSE: Be careful of guys like this. There has been absolutely no evidence demonstrating that polybutylene is a good system. That is why there have been millions of leaks and billions of dollars in class action settlements. And that is why more than 60 insurance companies of suing the poly manufactures right now.If you want to visit a good site that features internal memos from Shell, stating that the systems is in trouble, then visit . . . http://tv.cbc.ca/market/files/home/pipes/memo1.html: I would like people who are worried about PB : systems to please read the following links and see that not all PB systems are faulty : eg hep20

There was a class action settlement because there was a major problem with polybutylene. And that is why many jurisdictions have absolutely banned the use of it. And that is why the manufacturers recalled it and stopped producing it. And that is why there is more than a BILLION dollars available to those that have it in their properties. Im not too sure where this guy was going trying to say poly is good, but if you look at the data, you will quickly learn that it is a nightmare. For thousands of home owners polybutylene plumbing has become a recurring nightmare . . .
