I believe a mobile home has to be less than 10, (but it could be 12), years old. If yours is, call 1-800-356-3496 and put in a claim to have it replaced. They will replace it with CPVC, unless you wish to pay extra and install copper. In a mobile home, I have no problem with them using CPVC piping. I would not recommend it in a house however.: What if anything can I do about the polybutylene plumbing pipe in my mobile home? : I am shrouded with leaks in this system

I have a Concord Champion Home 1986 S/N 172-N-5535 that have been leaking on and off for some time. Recently the pressure of the water system has improve and I have a pressure regulator to keep it from excedding the normal water pressure. I understand that the law suit has been reopen in regard to polybutal. I notice the 1-800-356-9436 from a previous inquiry. but it is sosmeone else number. Please advise if the lawsuit has open and the correct number to call.Douglas Withers Alabama

: I am currently in the process of purchasing a townhouse that has polybutyl piping. I was told that this type of piping has and history of leakage after 10yrs. Is this true? The townhouse is 8yrs old, and currently there is no leakage at all. Am I about to make a bad purchase?
