I have a 3 handle price pfister tub and shower assembly, I have replaced everything that I can, except the one seat on the cold water faucet. The seat is stripped and all it does is spin. I need a gadget that will go through the seat and grab it from the backside, so I can pull on it to unscrew it and replace it with a new one. I DO NOT want to tear the wall out and replace the entire assembly. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and help in this matter. I certainly would like to be able to finish this job, as the water bill is getting pretty high due to the drip. No water shut off for this shower. Thanks again. Arlene

If the seat thread is stripped you may not have any option except to replace it. The seat is harder than faucet metal so the body would have stripped and not the seat itself. There is nothing that will pul the seat out and there is limited space behind it. If you try using and easy out or something similar, you will put a hole in the body and still have to replace the faucet. But you may just have a rounded out hole in the seat. In that case, a slightly larger square wrench, driven into the seat (gently) may grab and remove it.: I have a 3 handle price pfister tub and shower assembly, I : have replaced everything that I can, except the one seat on : the cold water faucet. The hole is not rounded, just need something small like one of those things that you use when you drop something in a small space and you use this grabber thing, you push the button on one end it opens up to grab the item and when you let go it closes around the item. Need something like that in reverse? Any such animal? Need to be no wider than the seat though.I still think there is something that will go through that hole to do it, I REALLY DO NOT want to tear the wall out and replace the whole thing. There has to be something simple to do this. Thanks, keep me posted if you find anything else out.
