I have a Price Pfister single handle kitchen faucet from the Avante series. It has a sprayer attachment. Some time ago I noticed that the pressure from the faucet had noticeably decreased, though the pressure to the sprayer was fine. I finally replaced the cartridge and the sprayer; the sprayer pressure is great, but I still only get a trickle from the faucet. The O rings all seem to be okay. What could the problem be, and how can I fix it? Could there be a blockage somewhere in the line? Thanks for the help.

Check the aerator on the end of the faucet first to see if it is obsructed. If not, then the diverter is bad. Either remove the diverter and throwit away, or discard the thin middle O ring. Either way will give your pressure back, have a Price Pfister single handle kitchen faucet from the Avante series. It has a sprayer attachment. Some time ago you report that you noticed that the pressure from the price pfister kitchen faucet had noticeably decreased, though the pressure to the sprayer was fine. YOu replaced the cartridge and the sprayer; the sprayer pressure is great, but still only get a trickle from the faucet. The O rings all seem to be okay. What could the problem be, and how can you fix it? Could there be a blockage somewhere in the line?More than likely you have an accumulation of mineral deposits in the aerator on the end of the kitchen spout. This would explain why you have good pressure through the spray hose and not the spout end. remove the aerator (it should loosen with hand pressure) and clean out the few pieces you find and then assemble.this should help
