I am moving into a new/old house. It has small pepto bismol pink tile on the floor. I would like to get rid of it or paint over it if thats possible. Is it? What would be better and/or easier? And, how do I go about doing it (either one)? Help! We move in August 15 and I would like to get it done before we move in! Any answers are deeply appreciated!

There are few paints which would stick to ceramic tile and probably none of them would be durable enough to walk on without scratching. Any coating which would increase the durablility will be too slick to use on a floor. I think your best solution is a fitted, loose laid carpet.: I am moving into a new/old house. will be moving to a new/old home in Feb the house has Shag Carpet right now, I can not stand the thought of living in a house with dirty old carpetbut cant afford to replace the flooring at this time. The sub floor is wood [plywood} and I was hoping you could send me any infromation regarding painting the floor. What type of paint is best? How do I prepare the floor? How do I protect the floor once it is painted? Any ideas you may have as to faux finishes would be great. Thank you in advance for your time, Carrie
