I have an American Std. toilet that has a water tank with a rubber liner (to contol condensation on outside?) It is pulling away from the walls and interfering with the refilling mechanism. How can I reseal it(glue it with an adhesive) or should I cut it and discard it (the liner)?.

Hello Lynn, You dont say what the tank is made from and being from the uk Im not familiar with this type of tank, I do know that the liner will certainly have a purpose and you would be unwise to cut it out. There are many kinds of multi purpose adhesives available (evostick) or similar would do the job your local diy store will advise. Make sure both surfaces are clean and dry before you start.
