how can i seal new pipe, which is pvc. that enters the tank and goes into the drain field? if i use cement, how can i stop the water from washing it away until the cement dries? I tried to seal it but it is dripping out from the bottom of where the pipe enters the tank. instead of getting it repumped.

Use hydraulic cement which seals underwater.
