when flushing or running any water into the septic system, we are getting foul odor that lasts 5-15 minutes. how do we take care of this problem or is it time to have the septic tank pumped? ( also when washer is running air will bubble up into the toilets…gurgling…no odor….connected to the other problem?)

It could be the septic system, or it may be the sewer line to the septic. Something is causing a backup which creates the bubbling noise.: when flushing or running any water into the septic system, we are getting foul odor that lasts 5-15 minutes. how do we take care of this problem or is it time to have the septic tank pumped? Check all vents for clogs and/or blocks. Ck from the roof to the basement/crawl space. You may have to use smoke or other means. Good luck.

********check your vents, make sure they havent came loose, it is also possible that the vents terminate in the atic, if this is the case, have them extended out the roof*****: when flushing or running any water into the septic system, we are getting foul odor that lasts 5-15 minutes. how do we take care of this problem or is it time to have the septic tank pumped?
