Pipe rattles when fauce closed…

Please help.
I can hear the pipes rattle when I turn off the water facet. The rattling lasts about a second or two. Someone told me to leave the water running for a while to get the air out. I tried that without any result. What else can I do?

Sounds like water hamering. Check for long runs of piping not properly supported. If this doesnt work E mail me good luck

if tis the one tap, good change that the tap washer is fualty, replce and try again … by the way, if there is a realy bad water hammer, the final attempt at fixing it is to introduce air to help stop it. I assure you that the last thing causing the hammer is air
