when I flush the toilet in the 2nd fl. bathroom the water does not flush all the way, inorder to completely clear the bowl i must flush a number of times.We have two other toilets and they both work fine.Please advise, thank you

Can I suggest that there may be one of two problems that you have. 1. It may be that there is a rubber which helps in lifting the plunging mechanism of your cistern and it is perished and needs replacing. 2. There may be a partial obstruction in the pipe which allows the waste water flow from the toilet. Perhaps you could look to get a plunger and when the bowl of the toilet begins to fill then. plunge away. If all else fails may I suggest that you contacat your friendly plumber. The problem as you describe it sounds reasonably simple.All the best Colin Dunn
