While trying to replace a Moen shower valve, I broke the valve sleeve and pulled the valve out. The sleeve is stuck in the valve housing. How do I get it out? Thank you.

Thank you.David, To remove a moen shower valve sleeve, remove the u-shaped clip with a pair of pliers. the clip sets near the end of the valve, with a little tab on the top side. Lift straight up to remove. After the clip is out the cartridge can be removed.

If its a fairly new faucet (within 10 yrs) then you should be able to simply remove the circlip (kinda U shaped towards the handle end of the stem) and slide the cartridge out. Depending on what broke you might get lucky and just have to replace the cartridge. Is it a pressure balanced faucet?

The grooved ring under the snap on top in which the handle tab fits has developed a crack. Can this part be purchased and replaced. If so, where and how? Thanks for this wonder service.

Dear sir !n 1996, I bought several Moen faucets in a distributor in Miami, and most of them broke. I shipped the faucets to Venezuela and installed them in my home in Caracas in June 1996. I am very upset because of this situation and very disapointed of the quality of these faucets. I am flying to Miami next August 13, and I will like to know if i can get my money back and return the faucets. Please let me know as soon as possible what I should do, thank you Miguel Grisanti, Caracas Venezuela Phone 582 9784648 or 582 2321760, 2321090

We put all Moen brass fixtures in our three bathrooms when we built our home last year. One sink fixture (the plunger part and ring) are corroded. If the others are fine, why is this happening? We are cleaning them with a soft cloth…no abrasivesPlease advise

I have a mohen faucet in the kitchen. It has a removable head with a spray option. It is made of plastic and keeps breaking. I do not remember the modle number. How can I get it repalced?

I have single lever bathroom faucct that is starting to leak. I.ve been told that there are no replacement parts for the o-rings and two flat-square rubber gaskets with a hole in the center. And that Id have to buy a replacement plastic stem for $18.Id like to find out if this is true or how I can find these parts. Ive seen these parts on display at hardware stores for other brands. Thank you.
