: Shower is dripping. Dont know how to remove faucets to add a washer or if that will solve problem. Thanks for help. Pam, Replacing the washers on the shower will fix the dripping problem. The old style valve stems can be unthreaded by using a socket type wrench. Replacing the seat is also important. A seat removal tool can be purchased at a plumbing hardware store. Figure on spending some time with the water shut off to the home. Steps would be to shut off the water. remove the valve stems, and seats, take them in to a plumbing store (to match up the parts for new ones) reinstall. Regards, Terry Love
