We own a home built in 1953. Recently, the hot water pipes in the bathroom have begun to knock and squeal. I have not yet replaced the seat, not seeing how that would accomplish anything. Any suggestions? It only happens in the master bath at the tub. Thanks.

If that doesnt do it, you probably have to replace the faucet because they are too worn out.
