I have completely replaced the internal parts of a washerless faucet. It worked like a champ for a short time and then began to leak again. Part of the problem is extremely hard water. However, since I am totally ignorant about plumbing, my question is how to seat the parts properly. How to adjust the adjustable ring? How tight to make the sleeve that holds it altogether? Sorry my question cant be more intelligent.
