When I took and passed my 1st master plumbers exam I was not issued a license or allowed to take the 2nd part of the testing as I was 3 months short proving I was working 10 full years in this trade.
Anyone can say they worked off the books etc. BUT the burden of proof is on the person looking to get the license and W-2’s are really the only proof you have.
