I am just a gal who has had my share of sh** happen to my plumbing, so just 2 cents worth of advise….replace the valve stems. Since you’ve no washers, this might be the simple solution. but, I might be full of sh**. So talk to the mom & pop hardware store nearest you…nothin like free advise. Big chains aren’t always best. good luck..
