Hello, The problem you describe is common in older tub/shower units. The repair is simular to a boat or autobody repair.But this will only repair the crack, not the reason for the crack! The support under the unit has given way which needs to be resupported. There is a few ways to do this. 1. inject a foam under the unit 2. use another type of filler. Then do the repair,to finish it off with a gelcoat paint to conceal the repair. Best bet…. call a tub repairman (it’s less hasle and guaranteed)!! Good Luck!!
