there are 2 metal plates on the front of the heater, covering the heating element connections and temperature controls. raise the lower element temperature first (take off the cover, and turn the dial slightly clockwise with a screwdriver). Wait about 24 hrs between adjustments to make sure you’re really “there” before you move it again. If you have to raise the bottom one twice, raise the top element about half that amount. (some top elements aren’t separately controlled)
