: I am having problems with my faucets in my tub. Specifically when I take a shower, lots of water also goes into the tub. I tried to take the faucet apart, but its an old Standard, and I cant get it apart. The middle of the handle looks almost like a dime. Its the same width and diameter. How do I get this off so I can take the handle off??My faucet is one control knob that when you turn it , it allows more warm/hot water to the stream. My problem is that the hot water does not mix properly with the cold. When you turn past a certain point the water pressure weakens and it is more hot than cold and vice versa when the knob is not turned far enough, the flow is predominately cold? HELP
