: I have a slow leak at the pressre regulator. Will it need to be replaced or is there an easy solution?Its kind of guessing to diagnose your problem without actually seeing it. If your leak is simply a leak from around the threads caused by loss of seal due to aging or rust, just remove the regulator, clean up the threads on both the regulator and tank with a wire brush, apply plumbers putty or plumbers (teflon) tape on the regulator threads and screw the regulator back in. Wrap the tape counter clockwise on the threads. If the leak is from the regulator itself, replace the regulator.
