: i just perchased a new 50 gal. electric hot water heater and installed a Culligan water softener the same day. it has been 3 weeks and the water SMELLS like rotten eggs . the dealer said remove anode rods…which will make the warranty NULL. or void. there has to be a different solution to this, but WHAT???? thanx!
