: I have a villa in Ft. Lauderdale built in 1984 which I purchased in 1995. Ive had 2 leaks in Jan and May of 1996 caused by polybutylene piping. Im told I dont quality for the Cox. vs. Shell class action suit. Id like to hear from someone who has been in the same situation. Did you find any other help to replace your pipes? Who did you use to do the work? Were you happy with the work? ect. If I paid for a home inspection when I purchased my home, do I have any recourse if the company informed me of the material of my piping but did not tell me about the problem or my need to replace my pipes immediately in order to qualify for the Cox vs. Shell class action suit? I did not know that such as suit even existed until this year.MOVE OUT
