: I read on the side of the tank that it was precharged to 30 psi, I want more. Can I turn off the pump, let the system drain down, then use a tire pressure gauge and compressor to set the precharge to 35-40 psi? Can I then use trial and error with the tire gauge on the tank air valve to set the Square D pressure control switch? The original pressure gauge is stuck at 50 psi.
