: : What can you tell me about copal seal shower pans vs. metal pans?I live in the south and we have been using the compu-seal shower pans for years. I have installed and replaced both types in my years of experiance as a plumber. In my opinion, I would go with the comp pan because of its durability, easy to install, and also the cost factor. A word of advice. Make sure the pan has the proper ASTM markings of whatever approval markings your area code requires. There are some generic pans ont the market. Lots of luck.
