The toilet smells like an outhouse, and it was new when it was remodeled, so the the landlady told my husband and I. I have bought all kind of cleaners, and nothing seems to keep this smell away more than a day or so. It smells like an outhouse, and it is embarrassing when I have company, because I dont want them to think I dont clean my toilet. I believe it is from the sewer, if so what can be done, and is it the responsibility of my landlady to get this matter fixed. She suggested changing something that was on the floor under the toliet. She had a plummer come, and on the day he came he said he didnt smell the odor.
