: Shower water pressure is terrible, have tried various shower heads, havent actually measured pressure, but the rest of the house faucets seem fine. Any suggestions where I may find problem? Thanks. How is other fixture pressures next to this shower? If possible take the pressure coming into your home and Multiply it by 2.31 and this should give you a close Idea how high the water should get to. This formula does not take friction losses into account. You can then take the height of of this shower from the water main and times it by .433 or .434 to get and idea of the static pressure. Once you know the static presure and you know for example you need 10 psi to operate this shower you either convert feet to psi or psi to feet. Rule of thumb is a half pound per foot. OR it could be blocked up pipes or a lousy showerhead. Take off the shower and then see if the pressure/ Volume seems better. Good luck. Sylvan
